“Go ye therefore, teach and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19

59% of the world today is considered UNREACHED — meaning JESUS is largely UNKNOWN among 4.6 BILLION PEOPLE. - International Missions Board

The goal and vision of Southwest Calvary is to support missionaries and Calvary Chapel church plants to share Jesus and to teach the Word of God verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book. We endeavor to do this by financial assistance, short term missions work, and heavy prayer. Please consider giving financially and most importantly, prayerfully to the work of missions at Southwest Calvary.
Currently, Southwest Calvary is supporting Pastor Joseph Totsis and his wife Amy (and their two lovely daughters). Abide Calvary Chapel Osaka was planted 15 years ago in the Namba community in Osaka. There are almost 19 million people in Osaka alone and the average church size is about 30 folks. Less than 1% of Japan knows Jesus. Please consider supporting the Totsis ohana (in the giving drop down menu, select Missions, write Totsis or Osaka in the memo area). Thank you for your support.

Pastor joseph & amy totsis

Pastor Joseph aka “Tots” and Pastor Mike have been friends for over 20 years. They both have a mutual friend Pastor Petey Kim (in heaven now) who connected them together back at Calvary Chapel Montebello.
Pastor Tots and Amy have been in Osaka for almost 15 years. They started a home bible study and Abide Calvary Chapel Osaka was birthed. To find more info on the Totsis ohana, please see https://abide-osaka.org/en-pastor-profile
