TEXT
Psalms 107:1-2   NKJV
1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy

REFLECTION
The Psalmist exhorts us to give thanks to the Lord. Why? Because God is good! This is God’s nature, that’s who He is. Just the fact that He is good should motivate us to give to Him. But that's not all. The psalmist gives us another reason why we should give Him thanks.
For His mercy endures forever! These two things alone should inspire us to give thanks to the Lord each and every morning.

APPLICATION
Then in Psalms 107:2 the Psalmist commands us to declare this promise
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy!
In the Hebrew it reads “ Let’s say [so]
It primarily means "to say" or "to speak" and is used to convey direct speech, commands, promises, and declarations
So, because we have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb from the hand of our enemy “LET’S DECLARE! Oh, give thanks to the Lord for he is good, For His mercy endures forever!
